Our Movement
Vision
Before You Go… envisions a world in which every high school graduate leaves the classroom with a well defined occupational trajectory, cultivated through the exploration of their interest and potential career paths during their four year educational journey.
Mission
Our mission has three main objectives
advocacy, collaboration, and curricula creation
As advocates our mission is to heighten awareness regarding the critical necessity for a school system that allows students to explore career prospects before incurring massive amounts of debt.
As collaborators our aim is to cultivate a coalition of organizations committed to both discussing the future of education and garnering support to provide schools with the necessary resources for shaping that future.
As curricula creators our goal is to develop curricula for schools to implement, establishing a dedicated period in students' academic journeys where they can delve into their future careers and interests as part of their coursework.
Partners
Before You Go… aims to bring a variety of stakeholders together to discuss and reevaluate the future role of education in economic development and mobility. We believe a strong community of thinkers begins with a diverse group of partners that are not confined to one sector or nation.
